GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite – As part of the preparation and disaster response measure, General Trias City police chief Lt. Col. Bismark Mendoza conducted an inspection of the individual Emergency “Go Bags” of all police personnel in the city.
The inspection of the Emergency “Go Bags” was held at the City Plaza in Bgy. Bagumbayan.
Mendoza said the inspection aims to ensure that every police officer of the station is properly equipped with a complete and functional emergency kit containing essential items needed during calamities, disasters, or emergency operations.
The initiative also forms part of the station’s preparedness and disaster-response measures, in line with the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) directive on operational readiness and personnel safety.
During the inspection, Mendoza emphasized the importance of maintaining updated and well-prepared emergency kits as part of the police force’s commitment to serve and protect the community at all times, especially during natural disasters and unforeseen emergencies.
Mendoza added that the activity highlights the General Trias City Police Station’s proactive efforts in strengthening disaster preparedness, resilience, and operational capability in the fulfillment of its mandate to ensure public safety and security.
