The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has summoned the woman driver involved in the recent car mishap in Noveleta, Cavite, where her vehicle crashed into several cars and injured five people.
According to a “24 Oras” report, authorities said the driver reportedly fainted following the incident.
However, the LTO is investigating why the car repeatedly stopped and accelerated abruptly, causing collisions with vehicles, pedestrians, houses, and even the barangay hall.
The driver’s license has been temporarily suspended as the investigation continues. She has been instructed to surrender her license promptly.
The LTO is also seeking clarification from the registered owner of the vehicle to aid in their ongoing inquiry. — Sherylin Untalan/BAP, GMA Integrated News
