MANILA, Philippines — A public school teacher was killed in a gun attack in Amadeo, Cavite on Wednesday.
Normita Bautista, 58, of the Tagaytay National High School, was in front of her house in Barangay Salaban when she was shot at around 12:10 p.m., according to a police report.
“Our most sincere condolences to her bereaved family and loved ones. We pray that they be accorded the justice that they deserve,” the school said in a statement posted on Facebook
Witnesses said the gunman fled on a motorcycle.
Probers are eyeing a grudge as the motive for the killing.
