Five suspects were arrested and around three kilograms of suspected shabu worth P20.4 million were seized in a buy-bust operation in Tanza, Cavite, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said Thursday.
In a statement, the PDEA said authorities conducted the operation at a parking area near a fast food restaurant on Antero Soriano Highway in Barangay Sahud Ulan around 9 p.m. Wednesday.
The arrested suspects were identified as 23-year-old “Arapat”—the subject of the operation—as well as 50-year-old “Geolds,” 24-year-old “Muhaimen,” 50-year -old “Mama,” and 35-year-old “Pinda.”
Authorities seized from the suspects a brown pack with one kilogram of suspected shabu as well as two two red packs with two kilograms of suspected shabu amounting to P20.4 million.

a genuine P1,000 bill used as marked money
The arrested suspects will be facing charges for the sale and possession of the contraband under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, according to the PDEA. — Joviland Rita/RSJ, GMA Integrated News
