ILOILO CITY — Multimillion-peso flood control projects in Iloilo City drew flak after it was discovered that two firms linked to the Discaya family have been operating since 2024 without securing the required mayor’s or business permits.
The City Treasurer’s Office (CTO) identified the companies as St. Timothy Construction Corp. and Alpha and Omega General Contractor & Development Corp.
