Authorities arrested two men for alleged rape of a cashier and stealing various items from a resort in Trece Martires, Cavite.
According to Mariz Umali’s exclusive report on “24 Oras” on Wednesday, the suspects arrived at the resort early morning on Aug. 5.
According to the Trece Martirez Police, the suspects posed as customers before declaring a holdup.
They also tied up the male witness and locked him in a room.
The suspects took nearly P3,000 from the cash register, two cellphones, a welding machine, a grinder, and an electric drill.
The two men then allegedly raped a female cashier after taking her to the kitchen.
After the incident was reported, the police reviewed the CCTV footage. They caught the suspects, whose identities were confirmed by the victim.
Before the incident, another CCTV footage showed the suspects stealing a red helmet in a parking lot of a fastfood chain in Tanza, Cavite.
The suspects, who refused to comment on the matter, are under police custody.
